Family policies
What families ask before the first day.
Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
A child with a fever, or who has been sick in the night, stays home until the next morning. We call a parent when a child is unwell at school, and the office sends a note when something is going around.
Drop-off and pickup
Cars arrive in the loop from 8:00 am and leave from 3:15 pm. A teacher greets every child at the door. Only the adults on the family's pickup list may collect a child, and we ask to see ID until we know you.
Closures for weather and holidays
The school closes for the winter and spring breaks and the usual holidays, and for snow. A closure is posted on the family portal and sent by text before 6:30 am.
Leaving the program
We ask families to tell the office in writing before the end of a term. The enrollment agreement explains how a term in progress is handled.
Screens and phones
Children do not use phones or tablets during the school day. A phone that comes to school stays in the backpack and is switched off.
What to wear and bring
Children wear a plain dress code: collared shirts and dark trousers or skirts, with sturdy shoes. The office keeps the list, and a family may ask about a change at the visit.
Meals, snacks and allergies
Families send a lunch, and the school provides water. Tell us about allergies at the visit; we ask privately once you enroll, and the teachers keep a plan for each child.
